AEW Europe finalized its first transaction in the charismatic “Marquis Building Brussels”, 1, Rue du Marquis, through CATELLA PROPERTY BELGIUM.
The new occupier, no one else than Fortis Holding, is installing its headquarters in this newly renovated office building.

The take-up of this prestigious tenant represents almost 3,000 m² on the 7th floor, and this for a fix 9 years lease agreement.
The 30,000 m² of the Marquis knew a large esthetic and technical metamorphosis presented during the opening in May 2009.
From its re-designed façade to the impressive glass roof in the reception area, the Marquis has charmed its new tenant thanks to its great visibility besides the Cathedral of Ste Gudule and its exceptional localization. At the present time, the owner is confident and confirms that offers are emitted for new interested potential tenants and hopes to conclude the ongoing negotiations successfully within a near future.
The commercialization of the building was entrusted to the care of Catella Property and Jones Lang LaSalle.
